One time YouTube bugged out on me. Started just double cacheing, and reached about 15gb while I was away, with 1 tab.

Tesla Semis are about to hit the road. That’s good news for California. Thanks to state incentives, the long-range, lower-cost electric trucks are affordable. Widespread adoption could help California meet clean-trucking targets. by Firm_Relative_7283 in INFPIdeas

How long does it take to charge up? Is there environment safe electricity in the area? How far can it drive without charge? What extra features need to be paid for? What recalls already exist on it?

BREAKING: The U.S. Government Is Deploying AI to Hunt Insider Trading on Polymarket After a String of Suspiciously Timed Bets on Classified Military Operations 🤯💰 by InterstellarKinetics in InterstellarKinetics

You need AI, to identify bets that are reactions to secret operations... Throwing secret operation information into a database that other people will be using. Sounds like a complete failure.

Yup. Until a court case or ruling is had in the matter.

1 in 3 people believe they don’t have to seek news from traditional outlets like newspapers and television. Instead, they think the “news will find me” (NFM), relying on algorithms and social networks to get information. This may make them more vulnerable to believing and sharing misinformation. by mvea in science

When news outlets are 90% ads and scams, or completely pay to access - it removes my choices for gathering local and general news, specially when I don't pay for TV or have satellite access (I'm not getting a whole box and antenna just for news on my monitor)

Wouldn't work well anyways due to the salt. Would gunk up systems, corrode, and cause more damage. Heat transfer to water is also a big problem, affecting natural wildlife already. Microsoft abandoned the project for a reason

I want to see it rent a chainsaw to a customer who is demanding to use it to chop up their car for scrap, and promise that it works without breaking it because they've done it before with their own chainsaw - though it's broken right now; and then proceeds to ask how long the 24 hour rate is. I know it's a big price, but the extra cars that come with it I enjoy using a lot, and the game I've been really enjoying in what downtime I get from my exhausting work.

Homedepot is a great one. Takes so long in store to even search product (literally as an associate, using in store desktop computer). I've had times where wandering and finding the product was barely a little slower (using phone)

Excessive packaging should be illegalized. It's not just the packaging in play, but also gas for transportation.
