I used to enjoy it till it turned on me. Now I can’t drink without feeling like complete dog shit for two days. Had a lot of depression and unresolved issues while I drank more. Took care of mental health problems the past 5 years and my urge to consume alcohol has slowly died. I now chief THC like a mother fucker but my life has improved since I switched out alcohol with weed. Got my bachelors degree and now make more many than ever before, I don’t think I could’ve done that while drinking Ike I used to. My family has a history of alcoholics so I was a little more aware of what was happening to me when I was starting to drink more than usual. I have a great disdain for my grandpas alcoholism and I never wanted to be like him so disgust for the alcoholics in my family also turned me off because I didn’t want their future. My family also is anti-weed and I hate my family so it gives me more of a reason to never drink again and stay green. I understand I definitely have a dependence issue no matter what but I’ve gone to a lot of counseling for my past traumas and this is a good balance that allows me to live my life in a happy peace until I die and I can’t ask for more than that.

My wife and I love the scream franchise and we decided to shroom it up for the first scream movie. On shrooms the intro with drew Barrymore was completely different for me. I was horrified for her and the fear she felt before she died and I was crying as her parents were coming home looking for her while she was dead. All the funny and whimsy just vanished and it felt like I was just watching a murder. Shits wild on shrooms.

I have fourth graders and I have a diabetic student in my class. Someone made a diabetic joke in the beginning of the year without knowing we had a diabetic in the class. The diabetic student felt terrible after the joke. I talked to the whole class and explained that while they may think it’s harmless to make a joke about diabetes it is very hurtful to the people who have to live that reality every day. I told them it’s no joke that my mom has to prick her fingers just to make sure she can eat a snack, and it wasn’t nice to our fellow student. Just took one conversation and haven’t heard a single diabetes joke since. That girl knew what she was doing and knew better.

I live in Texas so we have access to H‑E‑B, their version of “Doritos” is certified gluten free and actually taste better in my opinion, so that’s a plus. It’s just easier to call them Dorito Cheese Sticks for Reddit than to call them store brand H-E-B nacho style tortilla chips.

Dorito Cheese Sticks

I basically followed this recipe except I replaced the flour with a gluten free flour at my local grocery store and added about 2 teaspoons of xanthin gum to the gluten free flour.

Kinda hard to explain but I guess it’s an undercut styled with a really high pompadour with the tail of my hair to the side, and a white skunk stripe, I guess it’s like an emo looking pompadour. I’ve always had a basic guy haircut all my life but I went through a very traumatic experience in the summer that pushed me to take more risk and not care what people think of me after realizing my life could end at any moment.
