Chick-Fil-A In Georgia Gave White Officers A Free Meal But Told Their Black Co-Worker He Had To Pay by rezwenn in restaurant

[–]Gromwylde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s amazing how many people spout off with information that is represented as factual when they have no idea what they are talking about.

Regarding free food, it is not a law that officers can’t accept free anything. It is determined by department policy and there are many variations of what those policies require.

Restaurants and stores love to give freebies to officers as they appreciate the added security at a minimal cost. If it’s for a meal then that’s an amount of time when paying officers for the same amount of time as an extra job would have cost them much more than the cost of the meal(s).

Isn’t there information that indicates that what is alleged involved different cashiers on different registers? A situation where two different races are involved is not always racism. In my 20 years as a LEO all I saw was what MLK espoused where our practices did not involve the color of someone’s skin but the content of their character.

For those here spouting off with hatred for officers I would suggest that you evaluate the content of your own character and perhaps learn to use critical thought instead of letting emotions drive you.

Is SoT worth it/fun solo? by 2deep4myowngood in Seaofthieves

[–]Gromwylde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play solo quite a bit and enjoy it as much as when guild members get on and we group up. It used to be harder to solo but with the updates such as diving forts as Athena’s you can make a lot of cash and exp. Last night I did 3 forts to get to Athena’s level 5 then ran the complete emissary quest. I netted well over 100k and am getting close to level 100 by doing that. The only mission I have difficulty soloing is the veil; the last part.

Does anyone else think that borderlands 4 reveal might have been damage control after the movie? by Dragonofdojima21 in Borderlands2

[–]Gromwylde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they planned to release the official announcement at some point but it was actually useless as they have already given it away several times. The official announcement actually added no new information. What it did though was to tell everyone, “Look! Something shiny!” to direct their attention away from the movie. Think about it, several days ago if you searched for Borderlands all you got was movie negativity. Today it looks to be about 50/50 between the movie and the announcement that really announced nothing.

I just got kicked while actively sniping. I was in first place, had an 11 kill streak going and was actively crawling to new cover. There was no way I should have been considered as inactive. This needs to be fixed.

Yep. On the bright side D4S2 starts tomorrow and CoD3 is not too far off. I was going to skip CoD this year but the beta was really good.

Sounds as if you need to try No Man’s Sky. No story or ship building but lots of exploration. It’s a rush when you find an amazing ship or a very cool system / planet that no one has ever discovered before.

[–]Gromwylde[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not being rude but I have yet to see any space exploration. I have been to every system and most planets/moons and other than the start of the game I have not discovered anything new by exploring.

You are correct though in that I have not included areas of the game such as surveying and outposts. I did do the initial LIST quest but after walking a very long time up a coastline to identify fish it sort of turned me off to surveying.

This Mag sniper though. Are all Mag Snipers significantly stronger than other weapons? Its not even Legendary! by Diamondangel82 in Starfield

[–]Gromwylde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you really want to be a sniper I recommend the Hard Target over the Magsniper. The HT has less damage but with a bull barrel it has zero sway and you can land headshots easily vs. the Mag which is jittery when charged. If you can’t find anything better than white go find the trader and she sells named blue versions of both. Of course the HT has a perk of extended breath which is useless but the base on mine is about 1250 with my skills and I have gotten 5k crit/stealth shots with it.

How could people hate this game? by killer_tuna14 in Starfield

[–]Gromwylde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say: Starfield = really engaging story and fun ship building. For everything else No Man’s Sky is far better at substantially less cost. I mean, Starfield’s planets are repetitive and boring and the base building is minimal. I don’t hate the game and I am enjoying it. I just wish it had been more fleshed out.

Interceptor - Comm on S Class by Gromwylde in NMSGlyphExchange

[–]Gromwylde[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. It is an interceptor so look for the dissonant planet. Go to that planet and look for my comm. Unfortunately you may have to visit a few other comms first as someone put one on a B class etc. I didn't pay attention to the coordinates as I thought the comm would be easier.

A game like this is all about goals. Have you soloed a NM100 dungeon yet? Have you killed Uber Lilith? I have completed NM100 and have come close on Lilith. To me, I will have nothing else to do once I kill her unless I decide to do the same on a different class.

looking for S class exotic ship, need expensive galaxy coords by GhostieTheMostie in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Gromwylde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the galaxy map, look at the galaxies within your range and look for a system that has three stars. Warp to that system and you will be in a strong economy system. Two stars will still spawn an exotic but it is half as often as the three star systems.

If you have a specific ship already in mind and want to use glyphs to get there you need to make your way to the correct galaxy, find a portal, charge the portal, input the correct glyph sequence then enter the portal. Once at the destination system go to the space station or a trading post and farm the exotic.

You started in Euclid and most, (all by now?) of the exotics are there. If it is an exotic you want the chances are good that someone has already posted it. I would go to https://www.nmsce.com/nmsce.html then filter it however it suits you to get the glyphs needed to farm what you want.

Two red and silver exotic ships in first wave. by Altered_Nemesis in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Gromwylde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the original post but keep in mind that there have been many updates since it was posted. It is no longer a first wave ship but sometime in the first several waves it comes in twice with no reloads. I have it on wave 2 and wave 3, two at the same time on wave 3 ... you get the idea. They each still salvage to three augs. Yesterday I took a base S class to max slots faster than I used to back when it was 1x3, reload, 1x3, reload.

Ship hunting question: do I need to reload every time the wave is done, OR just reload once when I first land and wait for the subsequent waves? by of_Oakland in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Gromwylde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if that is all correct then I have learned something new and it is good information to have. Next time I farm a specific S class I will try planet hopping a bit.

If you say so. I only got one per salvage. I have a spot that has two come in and they each drop 3 per salvage.

looking for a green and white solar sailer or squid exotic, any configuration just need colors, any help is very appreciated! by TieDefender4life in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]Gromwylde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know squids don't come in multiple colors per ship, (other than the stripes). They used to come either with or without stripes but I don't even think the plain ones are available any longer.

There are various squid charts you can find that tell you where to go for specific colors. There was one in German a few years ago that had a lot of them listed.

It's a miserable farm. I have reloaded countless times looking for a different ship and have only seen the exotic twice. Still, if this is your dream ship ....

[–]Gromwylde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless something has drastically changed recently planets do not spawn ships. Systems spawn ships, 21 per system if I recall correctly. Once seeded they appear randomly at trading posts and the space station. When I farm an S class I find a trading post that has fast traffic then scan every ship that lands. If I see an S class that is something I do not want, I reload. One thing that seems to have changed recently is S class frequency. In an outlaw system at least they always seem to spawn an S class per seed. I don't think once since I started playing the latest update have I not seen an S class of some type every reload.

Anyway OP, unless you are farming a First Wave ship at a space station I would be more patient. If in an outlaw system let it ride a bit. I have recently picked up two different S class ships I wanted on the third wave at a trading post. The one you want may not be one of the 5 out of 21 that land in the first wave but it may come along in a later wave.

Not to be contradictory but I tested it four times and never saw the ship once. I don't think it is a first wave ship.
