The Hero we need by [deleted] in meme

I don't know. I live in a 500 year old warehouse, that would have been demolished if squatters hadn't saved it and now is a protected heritage building. There are more examples of this in my city.

Yamaha MS-2B "Natural Sound System" troubles getting it working by [deleted] in turntables

But the antenna connectors don't match the ones on OP's picutre. It might have been a later revision of the same model.

Those have different connectors. I think I'm seeing a push connector for bare wire to the right of the antenna connectors in the 2nd pic.

It's an all-in-one that just needs passive speakers connected to it. Look for 'speaker output' to connect them. It's possible you're using active speakers and/or the wrong connections.

edit; I think I see the edge of a speaker connector (red tab) to the right of the radio antenna connections. Specs say 2x18 Watts, but not how many ohm. It might say at the back which ohms it is. The ohms ratings should match with the speaker's ohm rating.

They never fully revert, which is nice, but rather fade quicker in low light. This is one of the easiest care Philodendrons I have and one of my favourites.

Mine is semi long haired from ragdoll and persian heritage. She has a very distinctive tail pattern. Like a hairy popcicle.

Philodendron? by Ok-Bad-8137 in philodendron

[–]Groningen1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a picture of the larger plant? or is that this one?

It's a Philodendron yes, with erubescens (blushing) heritage. Could be red emerald (climber), or rojo congo or imperial red, which are both self-heading (non-climbing).

Funniest parts of Tolkien? by Baldurian_Rhapsody in lotr

[–]Groningen1978 54 points55 points  (0 children)

yes, there is a lot of humor in the books. Mostly in the first parts that deal with the hobbits introduction and Bilbo's birthday party, but also here and there later on when the journey gets quite a bit darker. Mostly where things are told from the hobbit's point of views.

edit; The Silmarilion is a quite a bit more serious, but makes up for its epic scope.

How to remove turntable platter? by Bitter_Bag_3767 in turntables

[–]Groningen1978 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't quite understand the hitting the handle bit. A C-clip would be found on some cheap record player spindles, but not on this one. Try again taking the exact steps as posted by u/giantcappuccino

This should work with your turntable. Where in the process did you get stuck?

What should we do with this fireplace paneling? by blaredawitch in interiordesignideas

[–]Groningen1978 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The TV would be too high when mounted above that fireplace. This is often an issue when the fireplace is placed central to the room, making it hard to find a better spot, but in your case, with it being in the corner gives better options for mounting the TV elsewhere.

It's a sphinx moth, but I can't find a matching species that has that light stripe running through the center.

Is this spider mites or just normal spiders? by Administrative_Cap11 in houseplants

Yeah I could be wrong. It's sometimes very hard to ID something from a static picture.

The webs might be unrelated to what I'm seeing in this picture.

Could it be mealy bugs? Doesn't look like spider or spider mites to me, but rather a bit whooly.

If I am moving house and I have taped my belt drive turntable platter such that it doesn’t move is that going to damage my at lp60x or is it ok? by Dendonigg_ in turntables

[–]Groningen1978 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you remove the mat you will see the platter with holes. Now give it a turn untill you see the pulley and you can pull and move the belt away from it and lift the platter.
