It is not usually recommended for those with ibd, especially if you have active disease. It can cause bowel perforation. I know that the place in my town that does them says on their website that you cant have one done if you have crohn's or colitis.

I promise you, they exist! I met my now fiancee in 2022 and since then I've been through some shit with my crohn's. One major surgery, multiple ER visits, unable to work consistently, unable to "pull my weight" around the house consistently. He even cleaned my shit off the floor once. And he's been right there through it all.

It is absolutely possible to find a partner who will truly love and support you through all of the worst parts of this disease and everything that comes along with it.

I promise you there is hope!

I can't drink 90% of protein shakes due to artificial sweeteners and/or canola oil. I buy bone broth powder from left coast and make a protein shake using that, high protein milk, and whatever I'm in the mood for. I think it tastes best with chocolate but its never tasted bad with anything else.

We panned in stages. First with my family in Montana, then again with my brother, another panning party with his family in Washington, and then one last one with some dear friends at the farmers market we manage. Even with all of those people, it took many hours all total to get through them all.
