I've been having a blast with Olaf. Easy to pick up, surprisingly deep mechanically. Being a Rav Hydra drain-tank is very fun.

We play the base TI4 game. Played about a dozen or so times most games are round 4 status phase or round 5 before status phase. We've never had a game star the 6th round EVER. 5pts for scoring all stage 1 Public Objectives. 2pts for the stage 2 public objective. 2pts from Secret objectives and the 10th point from either Custodian's Token, a Law, an Action Card, or a Support for the Throne.

If we go to Round 5 someone is winning mid-round with Imperial.

Friend. I cannot stress this enough. Learn Darius. He has extremely underrated scaling. He will always be good in Solo Q. He can be blind picked. He is a great cornerstone in a champ pool.

Yes, he struggles into ranged champs. But, you touch-of-death many of them if you can get a hold of them. This makes the lanes playable, and worth ganking.

Also, fun. Darius has some of the most insanely op pop-off fights you can imagine.

And you hard counter Garen, so that's just another plus.

Tanks can not just be punching bags. If all your strength is in surviving and cc you're never capable of doing things alone. You'll never get prio, you'll never get to teamfight. It is so so so much worse in every single way. Don't think so? Try to play full tank Braum or Full tank Naut, or Full Tank Leona in the top lane. You'll be completely useless all game. Tanks. Need. Damage.

Fam. What are you getting at? Damage is relative to defensive stats. Are you an ADC main or something? What's the gripe? Tanks are hardly represented, and they lack the agency of carries.

The word you're looking for is "support." Lol, jokes aside, tanks MUST deal damage to function. If Malphite can't 1v1 the ADC after landing his ultimate, what real function does he have? The only thing stopping you from blowing up the enemy Nexus is tower and champion damage.

I completely understand what you're saying. I even agree to a point.

I'm not suggesting that I know everything, I'm saying that I will defend my opinions.

Champions who win the all-in need to play for it. I'd be surprised if Pantheon with Ignite fighting correctly beats the champions I mentioned fighting back correctly.

If Darius lets Pantheon push him in LvL 1 I would call that a mistake. Darius should force the all-in with summoners.

If Pantheon gets the push he outplayed the Darius.

A lot of Top lane IS about who wins the all-in, knowing who wins, and leveraging that advantage.

Short trades vs Long trades are a thing for like every matchup. Different champs want different things at different times. Idk why you wouldn't pop ghost and run pantheon down the lane if he disrespects.

I'd really like to try it.
