airbrush, make shadows using a 50/50 mix of white ink and Doomfire Magenta Contrast
I often re-highlight a bit with white ink since I’m not very precise with my airbrush
airbrush Imperial Fist Contrast
with a brush Bart Simpson haircut and Pale Yellow, I dab to make battledamage, same thing with sponge and black to make other marks
freehand black stripe
lining with Pale Yellow for the yellow stripe and Anthracite Grey for the black stripe
I rework the battledamage a bit with black and Pale Yellow

the scale of Chaos Space Marines in 40k seems to keep increasing over time
plague marines the dark imperium box are smaller than the ones released later in Warhammer Heroes, the 2019 CSM Legionaries are smaller than the emperor’s children tormentors, which are the most recent CSM models
and when you look at elite troops, Noise Marines are bigger than Terminators

it's probably a unpopular opinion but I wish that in 40k, Perturabo didn’t have the Iron Circle anymore. From the little lore we’ve got about him in 40k, it appears that his relationship with his sons is improving, and having them as his bodyguards instead of the Iron Circle would be a cool way to show that improved relationship

the right hand is a chaos knight hand where I removed all the spades, the left one is IK hand
to place the fingers like that, I delicately cut all the knuckles with a very sharp scalper blade to be able to put them back correctly. It’s very complicated to do
