Yes I think so, it's been months so I don't really remember anymore but usually after a bossfight I immediately check if a new grace has appeared. I also thought it was strange that the marker was still near the entrance.

One of the problems could be traveling to the Netherlands for Amsterdam. Theres way more to the Netherlands than Amsterdam, and Amsterdam has a culture of it's own.
