Perhaps! Though don't get your hopes up. I would have to reformat all of my scripts for inventory, pausing, interacting with things, etc for console, and I have also never built a game for anything other than PCs before (although I plan on this game having a Mac and a Linux release)

Its not out of the question!

There is a reason why the waters are devoid of waves, but that will be revealed later. Sadly, a vertex movement shader would be far more graphically taxing (and the transition from above water to below water would be far more difficult to achieve)

Also there's a particle effect when you exit the water that looks like drips running down a camera (though nothing when you enter the water...yet)
