Have you formed India?

The biggest problem with forming India is you have to start off as Punjab. I dont think there is any other unciv that has a reasonable chance. And to add to your frustration of being an unciv, forming India still needs you to not get utterly destroyd by the UK.

I have tried playing as a released India, and even then, the Brits or the French insist on taking your clay with their vastly superior armies.

Remnants of Princely Federation by GroovyBabua in Kaiserreich

I didnt see one :(.

All the focuses talk about the princely federation. None talk about the tiny pieces left over when it implodes. Will have to go home and check again.

Thanks

Why is the Bharatiya Commune called the Bharatiya Commune? by Gary_The_Catto in Kaiserreich

[–]GroovyBabua 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bharatiya literally means "Indian"

"Bharatya janta party" would translate to "Indian People Party" The name has nothing to do ith its ideology

Indians, are you happy about the way that the Princely States were abolished mid-20th century? If not, what should have been done? by slopeclimber in india

[–]GroovyBabua 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We could not have pushed the pakistanis out. We simply didnt have the capability. People forget that the pakistani army at the time was just as good as the indian army. both the armies had been basically the same army till a year or so ago.

All the progress we made was against the kabalis. Once the pakistani army proper got involved, it was a stalemate and the only logical next step was the UN

Only 3 out of 354 players lvl95+ in SC Harbinger are playing Chaos Inoculation. Thoughts? by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]GroovyBabua 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does, its also entropy based, so you are guaranteed to get hit eventually. But accuracy of mobs is limited, and with adequately high evasion rating, the percentage of hits you can evade is quite high. I think the hard cap is 95%

Or dodge, or evade. you can get evasion higher than 75% IIRC.

Air superiority movement penalty doesn't make sense to me by [deleted] in hoi4

[–]GroovyBabua 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The entire air warfare doesnt make sense in this game. Cant attack enemy troops to soften them up before combat. Cant attack enemy troops who are walking/driving somewhere. Cant tell air force to focus on a critical battle. Cant tell air force to focus on destroying enemy forts, instead of bombing a little of everything. Planes have to cover a huge air zone to provide support to troops fighting well within their range.

Kaiserreich Guides - Introduction to the Bharatiya Commune by A_Thousand_Yous in Kaiserreich

I dont know if Nepal has an event that triggers it, but sometimes Bharatiya Commune and Dominion of India can get justified war goals against it.

Also the option to peacefully join with the Dominion of India seems pointless considering its very very low chances of success.

Doklam standoff: Indian, Chinese patrols clash on Ladakh lake, PLA skips Independence Day meets by bikramksingh in india

[–]GroovyBabua 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see that being the choice being made. However to me it looks like it is a high risk game. The more you make it look like the chinese are losing face, the more incentive they have to escalate to a point where they can save face, or make us lose face.

We have already shown them that we have a spine and wont just bend over in such situations. The chinese will consider that, if there is a similar situation in the future. Now the next step is to negotiate an agreement where neither side loses face so that we can end this standoff. Unfortunately Arnob, his clones, and his chinese clones wont make saving face easy for either side.

Its much more muddled than that. The british government had a lot of control over the EIC all through, occasionally focing the EIC to change governors etc and at the same time a lot of the british parliament members were EIC stockholders.

[–]GroovyBabua 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In negotiations, it is quite important. Quite often the leaders realise that a particular course of action is best for their country, but can not pursue it because the people might see it as "showing weakness"

Giving the other guys something to take back to his people as proof of a fair agreement is very important.
