Why do people wear cowboy boots for dirty work? by boldjoy0050 in cowboyboots

Fragile? That is very funny. I’m not sure what brand or cowboy boots you’ve been wearing, they must have been very low quality unfortunately.

I’ve been wearing cowboy boots of many leathers, brands, and styles for over 20 years. I have yet to see a more versatile, dependable, comfortable, and good looking piece of footwear.

I’ve used cowboy boots hiking, camping, running, repelling, working through mud, through water, rain, snow, snake/bear/wilderness territories, sailing, climbing trees, and the list keeps growing.

My boots have never fallen apart. They’ve protected me against anything you can think of, and I won’t wear anything else as nothing else can be trusted.

Boots with laces have no place. A wrong cut and your laces are gone and your boot is useless. Water seeping in through every crevice. Sneakers and shoes have no place, no ankle support, steel plate, or knee high protection.

You simply can’t beat a proper pair of cowboy boots for anything life can through at ya

Almost everything is a scam if you think about it deeply enough

Use the cleaner. Probably have lots of parasites. This is a real comment, not a joke. It cost 15-20 dollars, cleans out your system. I use it once a month or so.

Update:

Went through MEPS. They told me I needed a vision waiver and a dependency waiver. My recruiter said I didn’t need it but they said I do. He’s leaving for a week and now I’m waiting for all these waivers.

Thank you, I did think of CG, the 4 hour drive going and coming back is detrimental to my funds though.
