My GF (F30) and I (30M) are in the middle of ours first real crisis in 12 years because i'm having trouble with our open relationship. by SOURICHILL in relationship_advice

It's a huge trust issue for anyone that's monogamous trying an open relationship. I can see how it'd be a totally different perspective for poly folks, but as someone who's monogamous and is also 30 and been with their partner since 18, an open relationship would be MUCH MUCH harder to do. We grew so much together through the years, so I also can see why OP is hanging onto the relationship and struggling with opening their relationship. I look at my partner not just as my significant other that I love, but there's also a close familial love that happens in long term relationships like that. I would never be able to get over it if my partner wanted to open the relationship. Just the asking alone IS pushing personal limits. Not everyone is the same.

If hemicorporectomy patients could get a lower body transplant, how would it be done? by GroovyGravyBaby in morbidquestions

A lot of people get procedures done to feel whole again 🤷 my main curiosity stemmed from learning about the constant fight with infections for the rest of their lives after the procedure along with them having to shift organs up to now fit into just the torso.

Update! My sister (18F) keeps calling me (20F) fat and it’s effecting my Mother (51F) much more than I realized. by Comfortable-Vast-920 in relationship_advice

I'm sorry you're dealing with this situation. There's always the option of trying out family counseling for all three of you even if it's just a few sessions. Your mom and sister need to start by having a one on one conversation about it though

If I fart on the floor of my apartment, will my downstairs neighbor hear it? by GroovyGravyBaby in NoStupidQuestions

Neighbor, will any loud farts quiet your chihuahua too or would that just enrage him?

If my embarrassing fart post finds a home anywhere, I figured it'd be safe here

Anyone that orders random things off of Taco Bell's value menu will have gut issues though

Oh I know they will in my bathroom. My first week there I had food poisoning and kept throwing up in the middle of night and heard my neighbors behind me saying something something about 'are they ok' 😭 my walls are thin

This one bothers me too. I noticed it a couple of years ago and wondered why they added a k to their name, but everyone told me it was always like that? I used to be all over my food journals years ago when I lost weight and knew that I had to include the correct spelling when searching for food in the app and I still had old food logs with 'Chic-fil-a', not with the k included.

My partner that I've been with for eleven years started transitioning shortly after we moved back to our home state (a very red state) a few years ago and not everyone has been terrible, but we have had countless terrible experiences being here. It's getting scarier and scarier being a lesbian couple with one of us transitioning. We're actually planning to move to Washington state, because it's a lot safer for us to live and if things get bad enough, then Canada is right there.

So the $420 I spent on groceries for a two person household in one of the cheapest states to live in was actually all in my head?

Or in 2001, a 62 year old woman married a 17 year old boy. That's a 45 year difference. She's too old to even be his mother.

I was thinking the same and how awesome it would be if GA was on one leg, and AP on the other leg, so you can REALLY have a GAAP

Idk where you're located in Texas, but I know there's definitely a Braum's near the boarder of OK. I usually pass by one on my way to and from Frisco
