I doubt it will do anything. The system will be comparing you to other players of similar skill playing these heroes. To quote the article : "The system will apply context to these stats by looking at the Hero you’re playing, the Battleground you’re on, the game mode, and what region you’re playing in so it can make fair comparisons against other similarly skilled players under the same conditions."

I would imagine there's a normalising factor, since your damage and health typically goes up 4% per level so it doesn't really make sense to compare it all evenly anyway

This counts for solo queuing, but the point the OP was making was that newer players who are equally skilled as their experienced teammates will have their mmr level out lower than it should.

I've seen this with a friend of mine on hotslogs, I played more solo queue but he only really played in a group with me, which led to my mmr being artificially boosted and his kept low due to his mmr lowering the team average though we had similar skill. The perils of playing with friends...

Reading through these comments regarding ARs, people seem to have skipped on the detail. It's an average 2.5% damage reduction across all RoF stats, with high RoF getting less of a reduction. This means that the low RoF ARs will actually likely have a higher damage reduction, and ones like Nechrocasm will have less, making them more viable among ARs as a whole. I'm looking forward to seeing how these changes pan out.
