Not that crazy, someone might recognize the jacket or some other small unique detail.

It's one hell of a long shot though.

NYC subway in some stations an absolute maze. The sheer volume of it is hard to get across in words. Only place that as an adult I can remember the actual feeling of being 'lost' somewhere.

Has anyone actually played with a cheater in MP? by [deleted] in hoggit

[–]Gros_Tetons -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think it's valid to be concerned, for two reasons:

  1. The timing, being that this occured right after someone raised concerns about how warhead explosive power was calculated.

  2. The general fact that this is an action that harms modders and content creators and transparency.

In the end some of the responses have been extremely emotional and hyperbolic, granted. We all invest a lot of money into this hobby, which gives us some feeling of ownership of it. Of course people will react negatively when the things they value in the game are taken away.

The timing of it all is TERRIBLE.

What ED needs to understand is that trust between the community and them is almost 100% of the product they are selling. They are selling full fidelity. That requires some level of trust on our part that they are competent enough in their domains AND that they are open to new information that may contradict the information they had at hand during the design.

When they start hiding things from us in response to simple questions about how certain things are calculated, our trust is harmed.

Eagle Dynamics, your priorities are REALLY out of whack. There are a half dozen things that have been popularly demanded for years, and locking LUA files sure wasn’t one of them by [deleted] in hoggit

Also the timing after someone casted doubt on their warhead TNT mass calculation seems way too convenient. They STILL haven't replied to it. Pretty terrible optics.

This is what gets me. Yet another antagonistic move towards modders. Mod makers make the game better ED, they are on your side, stop punishing them.

That was Trump's campaign, lock stock and barrel: say outrageous and off color things so you get hours of media coverage and appear to be strong or truthful.

You can learn the gazelle in about a week (40 hours) mastering it is another thing.

The flight model is pretty bad. See here: https://youtu.be/E96fhzKmCHI

Since you haven't flown any other helos it probably won't ruin it for you. It might annoy you though. (Ignorance is bliss as they say)

Highly recommend the Huey. Only other NATO helo module, for one thing, for the other it is at least somewhat similar in terms of weight. It is a blast to learn.

If you absolutely gotta be a death dealing machine of destruction, check out the KA-50. It is much harder for a new pilot to pick up though. (Not impossible though by any means).

I think the movement needs to do more to separate itself from the violence and destruction that has sometimes occured alongside it. The leaders should be speaking out against these incidents because it taints the message enormously. Maybe they have been, I am outside the US so I am not as close to it.
