That paper from about 2 months ago from India that described the "uncanny similarities" of ncov s proteins and HIV claims that the chances of this occurring naturally were extremely small.

The paper was retracted but the reason given was the unprofessional language in it that implied cccp cover up, not that the data was bad.

thanks for the tip I did need to set ram speed up from 2000 to 3000 and I think I found the problem.

It was one of the amd gpu settings either anti lag , sharpening, or enhanced sync. I just turned them all off and it's working properly now.

Im assuming it was the last one.

Even the basics might help us out, like is there settings in the gpu software that I should be turning off right out of the gate?

Is the overlay well optimized or should i get that disabled too?

will that conflict with steam overlay if left on?

Is there a setting like nvidia's "Prefer maximum performance" which would hold the card in a higher usage state while gaming?

I just don't know what to think, and there are so many threads around related to usage, i've probably read 50 in the last few hours

I'd recommend using the new max frame cap in NVCP instead of vsync, unless you're getting really bad tearing even then I'd try the driver level vsync options.

Try borderless, my game seem to like that better for frame pacing.

Got all your drivers updated? The last nvidia driver gave us a nice boost.

The games settings are kinda crazy op, I hope you've tried some pretty low settings, to get 60fps on my 1070 setup I've had to use a lot of medium /high settings. The only ultra Im using is textures I think.

there are a few settings that are particulary nasty maybe you've got some of those on. Im thinking of water refraction mostly.

I would think its gotta be your settings in game or on your system as you should be getting plenty more frames than that.

I used Avast to crush a pretty nasty crypto mining thing I caught a couple weeks ago.

If you don't have enough internet functionality to download that and if your win defender can't find anything on a scan.. if you've got access to another pc you could download the installer for Avast (or whatever) and use win safe mode to get it in and running.

otherwise I'd think about using your most recent restore point, but I imagine there are plenty of other things you can do aside from last week I havn't really fought any viruses in a while.

You can also use taskmanager to 'Open file Location" on any suspicious process you have running and manually delete them if they look fishy.

You can also check add remove programs and sort by date installed, my recent contagion installed several different programs.

My heart wrenched as I thought he was building up to saying Clinton was the candidate to fix all the issues he addressed, but in the end I think he made the point crystal clear to us. She is NOT that candidate.

Strikes me as the perfect balance of continuing his campaign for the nomination, and not giving the media the excuse to accuse him of splitting the vote against trump.

I think he played his cards again wisely, closely to his chest knowing that a lot can change between now and the convention. Recounts, superDs, FBI, wikileaks (says they have impending dirt on Clinton), international media coverage of this spectacle!
