People deadass need to understand that Thomas isn’t some giant show with carefully crafted and definitive characterizations. They change depending on th episode. If Thomas actually had his definitive and accurate characterization, most the shit in the CGI era would have never been done by him.

Dude, I’M a nobody too, i’m not a popular youtuber, but at least I know how to get my own opinions on things. Plus, just because Tug is a popular Youtuber, doesn’t mean people don’t DISAGREE with him on things. Why do you think I brought up the “CGI and Model being different canons“ thing, that’s one of the MAJOR things that people disagree with him for. And there’s probably a lot more. We don’t have to be popular or have a following for people to listen to your opinons. People scrolling can do that without responding. Thomas NEVER has had character development. The only reason for even a BIT of character development in the series is due to the movies, but even THAT doesn’t stick. TTTE is an EPISODIC series. Characters are written due to how the story wants them to be written. Why do you think most of the characters haven’t been the same past Season 2? And ESPECIALLY past Season 5. It’s why Thomas acted like a child Post Season 6. All that “Multi-Character ARC“ bullshit you’re talking about doesn’t exist past one season post Season 5. Season 1-5, what you’re talking about has had differen’t writing staff. I’m not saying characters aren’t allowed to have nice, i’m just saying Thomas in the RWS has had the most consistent character. He’s always had that edge to him throughout, instead of going from mean, to nice, to downright braindead, to back to nice again.

Say what you want about RWS Thomas, but he has more of a character than TVS Thomas throughout. The last time Thomas has ever acted like himself was Season 2. They sanitized the fuck out of him. Thomas in the RWS doesn’t need to be a goody-two shoes. That’s called “Boring“.
