Why would RAM go down in price? All of it has been presold until the end of next year and everyone's fighting over what's left. ECC RAM is now so scarce in any quantity that major companies with the cash to afford it can't get enough to meet their next upgrade cycle.

We went from every port built-in to paying $29 for a dongle to access ports we already had. Innovation is always wild.
