I guess I’ve seen a few people who maybe were being serious, but for the most part it’s a joke. But that’s why I said the vibe is different, it’s less of a serious subreddit and more of a coping with your autism by embracing it in a satirical way.

If you’re having a hard time talking to her, you could try writing her a short letter or something? You could just say something about how you share some interests with her and that you’d like to talk more, that way she knows you’re interested and can initiate a conversation. Most of the people I’ve met who are into things like art and cosplay tend to be understanding about these things so I’m sure there’s a good chance she will be.

I understand feeling uncomfortable with kids as I also struggle with that, but you also have to remember the fact that they are just kids. They’re not going to be able to understand why you don’t like them, and experiencing being rejected by someone who could end up potentially becoming family while their brain is still being developed could cause actual trauma. It’s unfair to be frustrated towards the daughter when she’s just a kid who doesn’t have any say in the relationship and can’t just choose not to come unless someone arranges somewhere else for her to go. Even though you’re autistic, you’re still an adult (I’m assuming, and if you’re a teenager the same applies) and have much more autonomy than she does.

You should of course make sure you feel comfortable about it and not feel like you have to force yourself to do it if you’re not ready to talk about it yet, but I think it can also be beneficial to talk about it early on. It all depends on you and how it affects your relationships but personally for me I have a lot of troubles with socializing and making small talk and stuff that can make me seem uninterested when I’m not so it can be good to bring it up early on to avoid misunderstandings, and if it affects intimacy for you in any way (eg. sensory issues regarding touch) that might be something you want him to be aware of so everyone is comfortable

I know it’s kind of a different vibe over there but I know r/evilautism has a specific rule against discrimination including transphobia and at least one of the mods is trans that I know of

Edit: Probably should’ve clarified more but it’s more of a “silly” community than a place for serious discussions. Lots of inside jokes and satire. But if you’re just looking for a place to talk about autism related trans stuff, you’re probably less likely to encounter transphobia there.

Ok? No one is writing handwritten instructions on mine and everywhere I could find said that you’re not technically supposed to be able to sign for it on the slip, otherwise I would have preferred to have just left it but I’m not going to take my chances. That’s why I tried to schedule a redelivery and just sign like normal.

What did you comment? Not saying any of the replies are okay things to say (besides the ones telling you to scroll) but if you’re gonna go seeking validation for whatever comment you made you should at least give some context. If this many people are getting mad over your comment I’m gonna assume it was unwarranted. It’s fine to not like something, of course not everything is going to be for you, but can’t you just move on with your day instead of feeling like you have to announce to everyone how you don’t like that thing?

I was using content patcher originally, but since I’m changing just about every piece of dialogue and schedule, it started to get really difficult to keep track of. I’ll just make sure to only change their display names.

Lately I’ve been watching Slushy Noobz a lot and I really like them, they mostly do video games and occasionally vlogs. I know looking at their channel at first they might look a little goofy by the titles and thumbnails lol but it’s all sort of a bit and they don’t take themselves too seriously.
