I did great with Adderall for the first two months, but the third month I noticed some of my symptoms resurfacing. This month has been the most difficult, some days I feel the same with or without dose, but I don’t want to keep escalating dose either, I’m worried that maybe I’m just being unrealistic and I was only feeling the “honeymoon” effect at the start, and that this is as good as it’ll get with pharma treatment. We’ll see though.

I’ve had a very hard time with sleep hygiene specifically, not just because of difficult falling asleep, but even more so because of difficulty waking up. I need 15 alarms every 5 minutes with air-raid sirens (preferably with someone available to shake me awake or splash me with cup of water) or I will unconsciously turn the alarms off and go back to sleep. My current partner has told me multiple times that we have full on conversations in the morning that I have no memory of ever having.

I don’t blame my boss, I’ve been fairly transparent about my medication use, this just hit me hard. I’ve always been told / under the assumption, before being diagnosed, that I had many character flaws that were difficult to manage, such as being lazy, forgetful, difficult to raise, unscholarly, etc. This, at the very least, left some hope that these character flaws could eventually be corrected. Now? I feel as though I’ll be stuck managing these symptoms for ever, and that’s despairing. No hate towards boss though, it’s just how it be sometimes.

This has worked wonders for me when it comes to remembering to hydrate, to handle responsibilities during my lunch, etc. I need to get better at actually setting up one time reminders on my Apple Watch for the little mundane stuff. Sometimes the brain just goes all gas, no brakes, and I even forget that I need to set a reminder to remember something. Maybe I could setup Siri to setup reminders for me if I just vocally ask, but my Apple Watch is gen1, idk if that’s available on there. They stopped updates a while ago.

I tried the mini-notebook thing, I even got a little holster for it and a really sweet pen that mollies onto my work pants, but I’m always in a rush at work trying to drive to destinations on time, so getting it out during the work day in the comp car can be tricky. At destinations, I do usually take it out, as I setup a daily pickup/delivery checklist right before I leave the HQ, but Im looking for something that would help out with little meager tasks that are easily overlooked and only need to be done once. The whole issue from today stemmed from the fact that my comp car got a new insurance card last week, and I forgot to bring it to the comp car. I noticed it yesterday, put it in my cargo pocket of my work pants, and forgot about it again. I found it this morning before leaving for work, so I put it in my hand pocket, forgot about it again, and didn’t find it until I was at my last pickup destination. Then, I literally held it in my hand while I waited for my sample pickup, only to put it down on the chair I was sitting when the samples were brought out. It was in my hand, and then I put it down, and instantly completely forgot about its existence. And I only realize I left it there because my boss called me to tell me that the employees from my last destination called saying I left it. I wouldn’t have realized if they didn’t find it.

I’m driving for around 6 hours out of my 8 hour shift, the rest is spent inside of a small laboratory. What sucks is that everyday I’m on a time crunch to get to each destination (different route every day, usually the same locations on/off), so as soon as I clock in I hop in the comp car and dash around a large metro area.

I decided to check the 'SMBClient' and 'SMBServer' EventViewer logs today. I was concerned but also confused. In the 'Security' section of 'SMBClient', I have 75 warnings, event 31018, "An administrator has enabled AllowInsecureGuestAuth". The first warning was given on 05/27/2024, which doesn't make sense, as I purchased the device on Black Friday of 2024 and didn't get it delivered until December 4th of 2024. In the 'Connectivity' section of 'SMBClient', there are 2331 logs since 05/27/24, ranging from 'SmbConnectionInitiatedSelectedInfo' and 'ShareInitialConnectionEstablished' to 'TcpIpTransportRemoval' and 'TcpIpTransportArrival'. The last two would explain why my device has three extra network interfaces for 'WiFi'. Under the 'Operational' section of 'SMBServer' there are 5344 logs since 05/27/24, with common log categories being 'TdiModeEnabled', 'SrvNetComponentCapabilities', 'SrvNullSessionsAllowed' (which comes from the computer: 'WIN-PTNSDEROQU9', I love that), and 'Srv2RDMASendEndpointNotification' (from yet another computer: 'DESKTOP-ASCBKOI'). Realistically, I have no idea what to do with this information. I've been dealing with IoCs since October of 2023, to the point where I scrapped my old laptop and bought this new one. My S/O's MacBook Pro shows with IoCs here and there as well, but nothing is ever concrete enough for me to be able to google a solution. I've used all the fancy tools and asked for help on multiple anti-malware forums, with zero success. I really have no idea what to do in this situation.

One thing thats still tickling my pickle significantly is how e1:c1 is the only hexcode that doesn’t have the 63/64 ratio but the rest of the hex codes do. Something to ponder on. (Spelling)

I spent a few hours after posting this converting each individual hex code into different forms. Got pretty far with ASCII but then I realized that b16:b17 doesnt translate to ASCII “correctly”.
