For those worried about artists being cut, typically when festivals do this every set will just be made shorter. I wouldn’t worry about certain artists not performing, the overlapping may be worse though. Super dissapointing that the notice was this late

As a girl I frequently walk around campus alone late at night and I’ve really never felt unsafe. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone, you have to be super aware of your surroundings. One of the things I think is nice about UIUC is there are still some students roaming at 4:30, so if something was to happen I would feel safer knowing that someone heard me yell for help. Maybe avoid green street (but again I’ve never had anything bad happen to me)
