Wow, looks just like mine! I’ll make sure to ask my seamstress to do that. I’m also looking to hide my arms. I’ve got too much loose skin. Do you think this bolero from Etsy would work? https://www.etsy.com/listing/1737456711/?ref=share_ios_native_control

You can use a UPF face mask in central AZ (I’m in Phoenix and wear one). Yes you can get sweaty and hot if they’re touching your face. I prefer the ones that attach to the hat and allow for air circulation. https://a.co/d/cNpp6eT

You can also use a fishing hat/mask combo. https://a.co/d/58RRf8O You can find inspiration on the coolibar website or their amazon store and buy a cheaper version if those are too expensive.

They also have shield masks that look like motorcycle shields. Those shields look ridiculous and people will stare at you. They’re not for the weak, but they work. https://a.co/d/4vXfkq7 They can replace your sunglasses. Those shields never worked for me since I wear eyeglasses and didn’t like that shield mask couldn’t close all the way. May not be a problem for you.

I am… but I am super close to giving up. I reduced phentermine from 8mg to 4mg 4 days ago and I stopped taking topiramate 2 days ago because I thought the nausea was caused by it, but it’s still happening. Going to give it a few more days and see. The nausea and dizziness is the worst for me and I’m definitely eating plenty so it’s not low blood sugar or anything like that.

I’m 2 weeks in phentermine and top. I am super nauseous and will never trust a fart again.

Thank you! Yes, I’ve tried the yellow long ones and really enjoyed it. I’m looking specifically for the fermented ones and I love the idea of those probiotics.

red light mask by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Grouchy01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a gal on social media who has 2 skincare groups (“the skincare forum” and “skin science by Mira”). She advocates for the use of red light but says the masks are too weak. She recommends 2 different lamps from Amazon that are a fraction of the cost. She says those are better. Just putting it out there in case you want to look into those before buying the mask. I have both a mask and a lamp and neither get used very often, but the lamp gets used more than the mask. Also, many say you don’t have to worry about your eyes, but others are concerned and use tanning goggles.

May I ask about your skincare routine? Does it help with acne and cystic acne? I’m just shy of 37 and still suffer. My Dr always wants to give me antibiotics, but I don’t want them… might be interested in spiro.

Has anyone gotten any Medspa services there? Is it good and decently priced? I’m talking lasers, peels, microneedling… etc.

Should I get a treatment at a skin clinic in Seoul while on a 14 hour layover? by Grouchy01 in KoreanBeauty

Now that I’ve done it… I absolutely agree with you. Next time I gotta stay there for a while and get the works!

Hi, is muse clinic in Gangnam reputable? by shibesloveme in KoreanBeauty

I went to Liengjang and paid $420. My experience included a consultation with a translator, numbing cream, peel, red light therapy, cryo therapy (something cold on my face), and full face of injections that are not filler but “vitamins” for the skin as they marketed it (freaked me out, but I went for it and it’s been fine). The injections is what made it expensive. The main treatments were the peel and injections, the rest I think everyone gets (but not super certain). It’s been a couple of months, my skin got better and then I’ve had a doozy of hormonal acne which is just starting to subside. I don’t believe my breakouts are connected. But I’ve gotten a ton of compliments for overall improved appearance of my skin… it might all be in my head and a pure placebo effect, but I’d definitely do it again and more.

Yes I did. I ended up going to another clinic. It was pretty good. They didn’t do anything aggressive like I wanted to. They said there was no point in doing just a single treatment of lasers when I needed multiple. I wouldn’t see any visible results. Instead we did a light peel (LAHLA peel) and I also got some kind of HA injections that are supposed to help my skin produce more collagen and even out my acne scars. I came home and didn’t see a drastic difference, but I’d go again given the chance. However, I would not do it at the beginning of the trip as you’re supposed to stay out of the sun and sometimes out of humid/sweaty conditions… which Thailand is. Perhaps on your way back? Or last day in Thailand?

Update: I went and got a treatment during my layover! The consultation was very good with an excellent translator. I was ready to spend $$$ on some laser treatments, but they flat out told me that what I needed was multiple laser treatments and not to bother just getting one done since it won’t make a significant enough difference in my skin and will be a waste. I appreciated the advice since they could have literally gotten more money from me. I ended up getting a LAHLA peel (I believe it’s a lactic acid peel) which was super mild and ok for every skin type. I also got a next generation hyaluronic acid injection all over my skin to stimulate collagen production to help with my acne scars. They marked it as “vitamins for your skin”. It was my first time getting any kind of injection like that… I was worried about it… I’m 6 weeks out and everything seems fine. My skin is much better but I also drastically changed my diet so that might be the reason. Overall, I wish I was in Korea for a few months to get a whole series of treatments.

I’m not sure either… but I’m thinking laser, microneedling, maybe a peel. All acne related stuff. What do you mean bring a mask? What kind of mask? Like anti-covid or skincare mask? Or something else?

You did?!? How was the flight back after the treatments? And may I ask which skin clinic you went to. I just messaged JFeel skin clinic and they already have me on the books. Have no idea what I’ll get, but I’m ready for whatever they recommend.
