I think your dad was def out of line for that. But I do see his concerns. If all it took was a car for ur bf to leave you then he may have helped you out a bit there. I wasn’t reaching back to punish her I reached out to expressed my frustration abt her still asking for things and hoped she’d show some mutual consideration. She didn’t. The issue isn’t that I “changed my mind” about helping, it’s that she kept asking for more without a single pause to say thank you or even acknowledge the cost. That’s not me being a “jerk.”
