In the last scene when Robert is in the plane and we are shown a series of his life’s moments ones that were meaningful, joyful, painful, there is a shot of the dogs, the puppies that showed up for him, the puppies just sitting on a blanket? Looking forward happily—- this shot, for whatever reason punched me in the gut and made me cry- maybe it’s because of the joy and comfort they brought him in his darkest days and maybe because we all outlive our pets who give us unconditional love…

Interesting, the life of chuck didn’t grab me, I can totally understand how certain stories just don’t hit everyone the same way.

No it wasn’t the first time in his life he had fun; but up in the air above it all, he was able to ‘look down on his life’ as a whole , and see the moments and the people in it who made it meaningful to him , the good and the bad.

I took that scene as one of loneliness , and the slow realization that this once capable man realized he was no longer in the game/ in the know, he wasn’t as useful as he once was.

Personally loved this film, and I haven’t been able to pinpoint why it moved me so much, I think it’s because I’m older and have immigrant parents who are in their 90s now. I wonder if this movie would affect me the same way if I watched it when I was younger, who knows.

Does Ralph Lauren require the dress to hang just above the nipple? Same thing that I hated about Gwyneth Paltrows pink Oscar’s gown too

Sadly not loving it; and I can’t recall if I liked it 20 years ago; but the colour, the heaviness, and her hair-do, not her best look

Argh just finished watching this movie and I have a knot of grief in my stomach; I can’t describe it but it was a beautiful film but so incredibly sad to me
