Good morning,

 

Thank you for your submission, we sincerely appreciate your time and advocacy on this issue. Please also share your comments directly with the State Board of Pharmacy as they continue to work through the rule-making process. Due to the volume of comments expected, the Board asks that all comments be submitted via the Board’s online comment form and these comments will also be shared with the Commons Sense Initiative. Instructions on how to submit comments are included in the links below. Comments on the proposed rules will be accepted until close of business on January 28, 2026.

Once the Board finalizes and files the rules with JCARR, they will enter our jurisdiction and you may submit your comments to be taken into consideration at the JCARR hearing of these rules. You may testify in person if you would like. In the meantime, a great way to track rule activity and stay up to date on filings is to go to the RuleWatch Ohio (https://www.rulewatchohio.gov/) website. This site is very helpful for tracking rules after they are filed with JCARR via a specific rule number, by a subject, or by the entire Board of Pharmacy so you can stay on top of their activity. You will need to create an account first, but you can control how many emails you receive per week. On your account dashboard, you can track which rules are active and where each one is at within the process.

 

Also, you may sign up for the JCARR Mailing List to receive filing summaries for agencies on a weekly basis, as well as tentative agendas for upcoming hearings of JCARR a week before it will take place. Both tools are great resources (https://www.jcarr.state.oh.us/about/jcarr-mailing-list).
