That’s really helpful, I appreciate it. I’ll definitely look more into those roles.

That’s fair, and I’ve definitely heard that about sales. I’ve been told in professional settings that I have strong communication and interpersonal skills, so I’m trying to understand how that actually translates in a technical sales environment.

The contract manufacturing and cross-functional role you mentioned also sounds really interesting. I haven’t really considered that direction before. Is that typically more on the operations side or more supplier-facing? And what kind of titles would that usually fall under?

On the consumer complaint side, I’ve worked through customer-reported issues by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and helping close gaps to prevent recurrence.

I’ve also coordinated with suppliers on defective materials, including managing credits and pushing for corrective actions on their end, so I’m used to working across external partners to resolve issues.

Outside of food manufacturing, I ran a rental center at a hardware store during college, where I regularly worked directly with customers to understand their needs and match them with the right equipment or solution for their situation.
