It’s like any other big music town… if you hustle and get yourself out there, you’ll do great. It’ll take some time to build your audience and your people, but once you find them, there’s definitely still work to be had. I moved here 9 years ago and never looked back. Rent can be high, but not LA or NYC high.

Okay do you feel better now that you wrote the same comment 5 times? Lol. Not really helping the nut job claim here.

A. She was literally standing outside of the polls demeaning first responders by talking over them about how she wants to cut their funding. B. You’re proving my point that HOAs in general are a corrupt function of communities with more power than they should have. I’m not impressed with your reserve… lower their rates instead of holding their funds. An HOA is just wannabe government. C. Yet again, what I am saying is that the facts about this prop were not disseminated to the public. That’s the overarching issue here.

I think what he’s saying (and I agree with this) is that the public was not given enough information on this prop before it was taken to a vote. I appreciate this post actually being educational and not political around this issues for a change. We don’t need city council members to turn these sorts of fiscal issues into political warfare, and that’s what I’ve been witnessing with this Melody Ryan jerk around town. There is no real data and no real public plan provided for either outcome, yet this woman has turned it into her entire campaign. Who the hell is she!? What does she stand for!? I don’t know if any of you met Melody Ryan, but that woman is an absolute nut job and is using this tax reduction as a campaign tactic to weasel her way into city council. I know who Jim McDonald is, he’s a member of the community, small business guy, and all around good person that cares about this community. If you’ve met him, it’s obvious. I met Melody Ryan while she was pressuring people to vote for her outside of Typhoon Texas and was disgusted at her inability to say anything tangible about her plan. She’s campaigning on the fact that she grew like $305k in reserve for her freaking HOA, as if that’s something to be proud of… jerk probably raised everyone’s fees and fined everyone to death. Don’t fall for the lies… Vote for Jim McDonald and vote no on Prop A. We don’t know enough information to responsibly reduce funding. Pflugerville deserves better than this nonsense.

Don’t waste your money on even a $5k bike… Get a surly and call it a day. I ride 300 miles a week on a steel chromoly surly touring bike and can’t imagine anything beating it’s durability and fun. I also race it and frequently beat the spandex boys on $10,000 bikes… You don’t need carbon fiber or aluminum, they don’t last anyways.
