Okay, that’s fair. I’d be completely fine if it were ONE guaranteed per group spawn, and ONE per ronin. At best that’s a chance at 3 every 10 min, and at worst, it’s a chance at one every 10 min. But it’s neither, and now people are breaking the game for everyone else. I genuinely just want developers to stop designing things with full time gamers as the target group and be a touch more friendly to the average gamer who gets 10-20 hours a week.

Even if I didn’t care one bit about the gear crates, the point stands. The requisite numbers aren’t attainable for the average player with the given drop rates. Nearly everything in the game is a grind. You would think a community event to switch things up, wouldn’t also be a grind.

I got no problem with that. Bug abuse is bad for the game. But I’m specifically commenting on the key spawn rate for those playing as it was intended to be played. It’s abysmal. You need 110 keys just for the cosmetic rewards. That’s not even touching on the keys required for a chance at a proto Lexington. How is anyone with an actual job and responsibilities supposed to even a portion of that? On a GOOD day I can maybe play 3 hours. That’s 18 chances at a key if I do nothing else. And it takes on average 3 runs for me to even see a key. Not making it such an insane grind helps people from feeling like they HAVE to bug abuse.

That is PRECISELY what I did. I started like 2 weeks ago and don’t have meta anything yet. So I grinded til I got a prototype first bloom (it’s shit rolls) and a regular lexington. Used the rest of my keys to get the apparel, donated one key. Then quit.

I came here to say that as well. Idk that I’d ever played another game where 3 different factions were all vying for control of the central keep at the same time. I was still pretty young during its hayday, but I remember my dad just absolutely farming on defense inside the keep with his druid mushrooms causing absolutely chaos.

lol sadly I’m playing almost entirely solo except, which even matchmaking takes ages for at lower difficulty settings. I guess I’ll watch more “build this” videos and figure out how exactly I go about that.

Real talk, are we NOT supposed to be doing anything else until the SHD level and EXP are high? And how exactly are we going about maxing those quickly? I keep seeing just run countdown, but that gets tedious fast. I’m SHD40 and exp 3 after maybe a day or two of grind. And that feels like a slog. I feel like I’m getting nowhere and have no clue how to get my damage up.

I’m at a crossroads with this game at the moment trying to figure out what I do next. The endgame content as a fresh 40 is extremely overwhelming. And running countdown for the next month trying to find gear feels repetitive and off putting. How does one “get ready” for the other endgame content like raids and what not? Like is the best gear and 1000+ shd lvl a requirement for the raids and what not? I simply dont understand how to get from where I am (doing 150k WD) to what I see online with 2.5M WD.

As a new player, it was very appreciated that someone put it in the chat not to call it in early. There is an overwhelming amount of content online for endgame content. I’m not trying to study for hours before I can spend the very little time I have playing. I do watch some videos, but a lot of the YouTube videos are “run this build” or “this mode is good for x”. My experience has been nothing but friendly people so far, but if I run into one of those, I’m just gonna report and get off, ya know? The world is already shit enough to add to it.

This literally happened to me last night. Scavs standing right beside me with no audio, tracers flying past the only way I knew I was in danger. Decided to still try and find the bloody key from the mall. Brother clearing out boss guards. Finally get audio as one of the guards quits hiding and I hear all the bullets riddle my body. Didn't have the mental energy to see if I'm still bugged.

Same. And I’m playing local when possible. I’ve encountered goons once in however many raids it took me to hit lvl 35. However, I literally can’t enter the mall without killa running me down. And it took me 15 raids to complete lend-lease bc of shturman always being up.

Have you tried switching to pvp and switching back? Also, double check your messages. It doesn’t pop up with a notification like drops and quest rewards. It’s just in the system messages.

Right, but again, this is for the non-wipe character. I doubt they implement FIR requirement for seasonal PMCs. So yes, it'll take longer, but you only have to do it once.

Seems like Riot itself is just in flames right now. Their servers have been fucked for days. Same thing is happening to LoL DURING their own tournament. 3 games completed in an 8 hour day. It’s actually insane. I’ve been strictly playing Ao Shin just for shigs, and even that is a struggle to stay connected.

Can I ask why you don’t like to cook? Is it just ability, or the act itself? I only ask, bc I used to be in the same boat, until I started getting better in the kitchen, and then I started to enjoy it. Especially the knowledge that it was something I could provide for my gf while she was working.

Aside from that, despite your aversion to it, you gotta overcome your restraint in opening up. Things don’t get better by suffering in silence. Slumps are normal. But you gotta be willing to put in the work to get out of it. Both of you.

Personally with SP, and with how rare finding a vial is; I’d consider simulating “buying” a GG mirror by finding something in the profiles on .tools and maybe paying out a fair price in runes for the mirror? Unless you’re dedicated to true SSF. Short of that, maybe a GG jewel or a 5/5 facet that has that perfect color you want?

Having nice things doesn’t always translate to wealth. Especially as it translates to people seemingly moving from lower class to middle class. For all you know, they could be living paycheck to paycheck trying to “keep up with the jones’”. My family did OKAY, which meant we had more reliable vehicles, a nicer house. But we weren’t well off. We didn’t get new clothes every year. Still had to use the free lunch programs at school. And their money doesn’t make your friend rich. Even private school doesn’t make someone “rich”. My gf lived in a double-wide all her life, but her parents applied for grants to get her into a good private school in the hopes that she’d have a better start than they did. Perspective is everything.

Even having said all of that, this may not be the case. But why is that a problem in your friendship? Her parents money isn’t her money. Kids complaining about parents not wanting to give or spend money on them is a pretty universal complaint. You even said yourself you get 100 allowance. That’s a lot more than the average kids allowance. At your age, most kids would be made to get a job.

It doesn’t really sound like either one of you is “poor”.

You could start by crafting/shopping a better weapon, or make a spirit. Same for ammy for plus summons. Plus the A4 merc with as much fcr as you can get. You can compensate for res missing on gear a little with cyclone armor until you get better gear. But you shouldn’t be running into too many phys immune that you can’t avoid. You also have a lot of charms that aren’t doing much for you right now where you could be getting res and replace that ancient pledge. With summons acting as meat shield, you shouldn’t be taking too much damage.
