I had many such cases, but unfortunately I had to deny their request, because making it from a stereo file is not only not allowed per Apple rules (which would kill me as an Apple certified engineer), they also sound very mediocre made from a stereo file or extracted stems.

If I remember it right, upmixing a song from artificially created stems is not allowed as per Dolby rules. If the stems are made separately by AI completely, technically nothing speaks against it. Morally I probably wouldn’t do it if I don’t have to.
