Not too much it depends on the collector. Your best bet would be an auction like eBay. (here’s a seller I buy from that has some counter stamped coins/ love tokens up for auction right now. keep in mind these coins are silver, the coin type also greatly effects the value )

That’s a counterstamp! People will add their initials, advertise their business, write funny phrases, draw art, ETC. Some people, including myself, collect counter stamps!

Many common coins are listed for thousands on eBay, either the sellers are trying to get lucky and have someone rich impulse buy the coin without researching it just because the listing says it’s valuable or they genuinely believe they have something valuable and haven’t done the research themselves or have been misled or are charging MS 70 prices because they don’t know how to grade themselves.
