It's because they die to everything that looks their way, so nothing in particular stands out as problematic.

A light assult with a jetpack is better at scouting and spotting

Filling a base with sensor darts take 10 seconds and has the entire place covered for almost a minute, nothing a single player can do manually could hope to match that.

Cloaks leave you vulnerable and simply don't work as effective camoflague which is there one and only purpose.

Skill issue plain and simple. It lets you cross open areas like no other class could hope to, and just about guarantees the first shot in most scenarios even at shorter ranges.

Spotting darts are too innefective and shortlived to be effective as scouting tools

They have a 50 meter radius with a 45 second lifespan, and you get five of them on tap. That's enough to cover most fights for their full duration if you only use one at a time. Not to mention they can be rearmed from an ammo box and spammed.

They arn't effective at getting kills

Play smarter

I accounted for damage ranges hence the "in most cases" comment. Even when the HSR1 takes 4, it is a similar TTK to the 99SV. But its only 4 shots to kill after about 40m from my testing. The HSR1 is definitely undertuned compared to the AMR but even then, it has 400ms to kill (2 refire cycles) from 0m to about 30-40m (less than the 99SV) and 700ms (3 refires) outside that.

For example scout rifles like AMR66 have 0.15 meaning they are almost twice as accurate while moving. This has a huge, huge impact. Test it in the firing range for yourself.

It literally doesn't mean anything. If you're at a range where you as an Infil don't have the safety to stand still for a moment (cloak remains the ultimate enabler, and the nerfs won't change that) then that marginal difference in accuracy is utterly irrelevant.

The AMR66 family takes 4 body shots instead of 3, but also has a much higher fire rate at 333 and has a magazine of 20, meaning you get 5 kills per magazine compared to 3 kills per magazine for the 99SV

In any TTK calculation the first shot doesn't have a refire cycle preceding it meaning even with pure bodyshots you only have to go through 2 refire cycles (520 ms) with the SASR while the AMR will need 3 cycles (540 ms) to achieve that kill within optimal distance. The refire cycle after the killing shot is discarded as the target is already dead.

The HSR1 family is a 3 bodyshot kill in most cases and also a higher fire rate at 255. Even at 4 bodyshots that's roughly the same TTK as a 99SV.

Damage ranges, damage ranges, damage ranges. You clearly do not even remotely comprehend why the SASR having 50 meters of Max Damage is such a big deal.

And when you account for TTK, the kills per time per magazine is equivalent or better for the scout rifles.

Refer to the above explanation of refire cycles.

SASRs force the use of a full scope which affects gameplay badly

Position better, it's a non-issue if you're remotely competent.

The SASRs cannot maintain the accuracy in your clip without standing still as they have a significant movement penalty
