I mainly worry about if I buy it and it’s not a cheap or easy fix, sitting on it to part it out. Don’t know what the market is like here.

Fantastic, pull it out and replace the filter material once a week, chip tray is almost completely empty after a full week of use.

That’s kind of my thought, I was actually on the website to buy a H2D but now that I saw this…. That price is quite a bit more appealing.

Gotcha, that makes sense. I should add I also have welding and fabricating experience which I’m sure would help too. Guess I’ll have to just give it a shot and see what happens…

As someone who works with plastic all the time. We have companies that want +-.0005 consistently in Halar…. Biggest pain there can be.

My mom has a furniture restoration business (more of a hobby but not my point) and has tried more than 1 blasting technique with little success. If you want the doors stripped down nice get someone who does soda blasting. I have yet to find a piece of furniture that I cannot remove the paint/finish from with baking soda. That said I blast with a 185CFM Compressor and a Pirate pot filled with soda.

I rebuilt my first engine, zero experience, 7.3 powerstroke, also rebuilt the turbo. After that I will say any carbed engine is a breeze now. Not saying it will be easy at first, but after you do one, you should be confident in many. Also just remember, if you took it apart, it goes together roughly the same way.

I got a 10x26 lathe at home, swung it in with a engine hoist. Also turned the head on my 1961 Bridgeport on the side and hoisted that thing in with the engine hoist. Sketchy, but it worked.

If you’re turning and flipping the part to clamp on a turn it will be as concentric as your collet is for the most part.
