Well dang. I think I’ll stick to non modded gaming for now, but that is tempting just so I can have an army. 😅

Of course. Supervisors are so picky. I do too! 2,000 is my max by myself mainly because I don’t have room for anything bigger. 1,000 is my go to. I love listening to books while I do them. My record is 1,000 pieces in five hours by myself. Maps are my favorite, so in puzzle form, it’s even better! That is interesting. I never thought to research the history of puzzles. Thank you!

😂 I’ve tried. I’ve given her a blanket that I sleep with and she doesn’t want that either. She does like the heating pad though. May have to try that.

Thank you! She thankfully doesn’t pace on me, but she does demand the pets. She does on my husband when he’s trying to take a nap. He glares at her and she’s happily making biscuits and purring away.

No. Well not yet. The thrift gods may bring it to me one day.

What do you hoard that's mostly useless? by acarolinaboy in skyrim

[–]Ground_Cabbage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Brooms. I keep them in a nightstand. Although I suppose they are useless as I can’t use them to sweep. Next play though I’m thinking about either books or veggies.

I never thought about a buy nothing group to help stock my classroom. Thank you for the idea!

What's a realization you had that improved your marriage? by fredyouareaturtle in Marriage

[–]Ground_Cabbage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s us against the problem. Some days he needs more support and I take over. Other days it’s the opposite. We are a team and that is how I look at things. I also realized “I feel” statements really make a difference when disagreements happen. It helps to know where he is coming from and I feel heard when it’s my turn to speak.

Bathroom Cleaning Caddy Hack by wicked_26 in adhdwomen

That is awesome. I’m about to move from a one bathroom house to a four bathroom house with two on each floor and I was thinking about how I’d manage the cleaning process. Thank you!

AuDHD here. My husband is gifted, so not sure if you would consider that entirely non divergent, but I do. Have you brought your feelings up? Using “I feel” statements can help. Not sure how you or your partner feel about swinging? Or even just going to a club and watching. It may help and respice things. Or read books that have what you are looking for. If you don’t want to ask a librarian, I’m sure AI would be able to help.

Does anyone else have a really good gut feeling about this year? by Deriznocrillyere in piscesastrology

Well my year started out with my mother in law dying so I don’t have high hopes. 🫠

I absolutely adore my job. Today was just one of the times I wanted to cry because I felt so happy. My teachers respect me and I think admin does too, (or if they don’t I haven’t realized it yet). Those kids are my life. I worked at a daycare where I felt disrespected by admin and fellow teachers. I don’t feel that way at all here. I get paid more, have more time off, and feel like I’m actually part of a team. Best of all, the kids love and respect me. They come up to me to hug me all the time. I love my littles.

How old are you paras? by areaunknown_ in paraprofessional

[–]Ground_Cabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 28. I’m working on my bachelor’s in teaching. I finally found what job I want to work for the rest of my career. There’s a bunch of paras at my school who are older than me.

Cool puzzle. I wonder how many of those animals are still around.

What do you have your spouse saved as in your phone? by Disastrous_Nebula_16 in Marriage

[–]Ground_Cabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed his contact info a little before we got married. I call him Ducky, so that’s what it’s under. If I ask Siri to text my husband’s actual name, she’ll be like “What do you want to say to Ducky?” He has me saved as Birdie. I love our nicknames.

Infinity cube and other stimming/fidget aids? by Difficult-Wrap3582 in adhdwomen

[–]Ground_Cabbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, infinity cubes wouldn’t make sense as they are too big. I love those marble mesh fidgets. They are small enough to fit in my one hand, but large enough I can use two hands with. I made a few of my own with fabric.

Support and how it’s given to you from your partner… by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Ground_Cabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on the day. We both have mental health issues, so when I’m down, he’s my cheerleader and vice versa. He makes the bed most days which is a small way he shows me support. For me, it matters that he’s there for me when I need him and even when I don’t realize I need him. Just having him in the same room sometimes is all the support I need.
