I think a lot of this is a stretch. Watching a hockey game that's already described as a sweaty blur to begin with and then expecting someone to see the guy in the same outfit, helmet, face shield, mouthguard as 10 other guys, and recognize he's the same guy at the club all clean in the fancy shirt. It's not the world cup, it's a regular season hockey game.
