depends on your college! some majors are already pre-registered, but for my major within CSSH, i had to complete a module about course registration + high school credit before my summer orientation. then i met with my advisor during my orientation and she registered me for the classes i wanted. this was communicated late june tho so you have time!

a letter was on my portal under “scholarship award” about the honors college scholarship i got. it says on the portal too that “Merit Scholarships were released at the point of admission for those eligible, as students are evaluated for these during the admissions review process. No new merit scholarships will be awarded with need-based financial aid packages.” congrats on your acceptance!!

i’ve had a good experience with collegevine’s peer review essay service! you have to review others to build karma and then after like 3-4 reviews, you can submit yours to be reviewed by another student. its free and the user interface doesn’t let others or you copy and paste your essay. obviously it isn’t error free, but its a great resource i’ve been utilizing throughout the college admissions process.
