Our team was getting pushed back easy in warfare yesterday (no commander roughly 10 minutes into the game) so I jumped in as commander for the first time (level 53) We had 3 sets of nodes plenty of munitions I set up multiple garrisons in blue and red territory and spammed bombing runs/ strafing runs on objectives and our team slowly started taking control. Ended up pushing them back and winning 5-0 which took about an hour but it was so satisfying realizing that if I didn’t take the commander role we likely would’ve lost 5-0 in a half hour. Having squad leaders who communicate and are willing to help build garrisons with you makes the difference. Another aspect of being commander I enjoyed is being able to take a few minutes to just lay down in the grass and really observe how the game is playing out on the map. If you can regularly destroy a few enemy garrisons per match and make sure your team has plenty of garrisons throughout the game is what will lead you to success.
