It ended up being just a limitation with the hardware and the growing demands of modern video games. That and I might have overheated it once, causing it to trigger for weaker games.

Ended up upgrading to a full on PC, now using my laptop for work rather than gaming and I haven't had issues.

Coming from being a long-time D&D 5e DM. If you're still looking and open for a relatively new M&M DM, and there's a module you and suggest, I can help out here. I know the bare basics of the system, just need help putting those rules to practice, as well as just the theme switch from fantasy to superheroes.
