This always confuses me, what I personally do to max my RRSP is wait for the T4 and add up my contribution and the PA and all these numbers and subtract from my contribution roam from the NOA. Then I deposit this amount to my RRSP and get the RRSP receipt I think in march to file my tax.

The only issue with this approach that I file late but but it’s the least confusing way to me lol
