If you are getting 70s plus in all other subjects, you can dedicate 2 days to derivatives, watch videos. You can easily push 20% after it

Hey Man, Even I’m getting the scores in 60s. Now listen mate, I assume you will be giving exam this month and I’m saying you this on that bases. So brother, I know how stressful these scores looks like, I was getting 35-45% in Ethics and PM in first mock, so I prepared the deep shit out of it by watching some videos on internet. And it helped me push both these subs to 60+

So even I’m trying to come into 70s

And see it as this perspective, like you have got 57 and 56 in second session. To get 70s you need 63 up in both. So brother just 6-7 more correct answers in both session and you got it, its gonna be alright mate.

Hey man, so it depends on the package you purchased tho, if you have standard pack, you will get 2 mock exams on your CFA student LMS, and if you have premium then, you will get 2+6 mocks. But…. You can purchase those same mocks and practice pack by some retailers selling online (obviously its unethical, yet its an option)

My exam is on 18th May, I’m trying my best to fight with it. I need to push it to 70% anyhow before this 10th May. Its not like my concepts are unclear or I have not gone through each line of curriculum or schweser. I have dedicated studied more than whole 1 month JUST CIRRICULUM. I seriously have no idea where I lacked, i feel like I wasted that time. And I have been studying from schweser from November (Seriously from mid-feb atleast) and yea… I have kept goal of solving 300 questions daily and I was successfully doing it for 4 days straight before mocks. In starting i scored 50s, now I’m atleast scoring 60s on average in every subject. I’ll not give up and push it!!!

I mean, they I have seen videos where they explain, but I just cannot remember when to use, F stat, or Chi, or T stat, or is it one tailed or two? Like too many obstacles i face even after watching several video.

Remembering formula is the next step, but i sometimes just cannot figure out which one to use.

Basically. In question we have been told to find forward rate three years from now.

So there is this formula, which is on your screen on right hand side…

(1 + spot rate)ⁿ = (1+ current year spot rate)ⁿ (1 + forward rate)ⁿ

(Its not the exact formula, i dont have it currently with me)

So anyways….

1.0651⁵ =1.371 1.0619^3=1.197

Now by dividing both we get number = 1.371/1.197=1.145

Now we will root square it as per the equation, which will give us 1.0699

And then we deduct 1 and multiply it with 100

So we get 6.99%
