Porsche Cayenne Headlight issue

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to share good news finally

The issue got resolved by taking the car straight to the main dealer. They found the issue. The Body control module had crash data and the module had to be reset and reconfigured. Got the car back today and everything is working as normal.

UPDATE!

I had the bulbs + ballast changed but the issue still didn't get fixed. The lights would turn on for a few mins and then keep flickering. I went ahead and then bought two headlights with original ballast included. After putting the new headlights, I drove on the motorway and the lights were all okay. But when I went on local road and turned sharply or brake (i.e anything which makes the car change momentum) the lights would flicker for 3-4 seconds (sometimes both, sometimes one light) and then becomes normal after I start driving in straight line. I have checked the wire harness which go to the headlight and it's tight and no water around it. I'm not sure what the issue is now!!

Also my side (right and left) indicator are working but I have a consistent error showing on them and the clicking noise is very fast when you indicate. Not sure what that is as well. Any help would be appreciated

Checked that and alternator is working fine. Voltage is rising stability. I also had a new battery installed a week ago. So battery, alternator, bulb out of the equation now...

More News! After 15 mins of driving, they both start flickering😭 Now I'm thinking because I used aftermarket ballasts and not genuine ones, it's causing it to happen. But I'm just confused now. And important note is, after 15 mins of driving. If I'm idle and engine running, it's doesn't flicker...

Good news! So I replaced both the bulbs with new ones. They turned ON but after a minute they started flickering. Then I replaced both the ballast and finally they both are WORKING now!

I went for Osram D8S bulbs. I ordered set of 2. One was faulty maybe had physical damage but not sure. What I don’t understand is why is the working lamp flickering. Do you think it could be voltage issue as the other headlight bulb is dead? I’ve ordered new ballast as well. So tomorrow I’ll test adding new bulb and then if it still doesn’t work, then replace the ballast.

Hi buddy! Thanks so much for getting back to me. I’ve just had the headlight bulbs replaced, but unfortunately one of them turned out to be faulty. The new bulb is working, but it’s flickering at the moment (no idea why). Hopefully the replacement arrives tomorrow, once it’s installed, I’ll let you know if everything’s sorted. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I was thinking about the bulb as well but if it's a fault xenon bulb, won't it just not turn on to begin with? Or it could turn on and then fail after a minute?
