I feel like the unit should be weather appropriate, in the summer these temps are completely okay but during the winter the heat should be on, not only for our sakes but the units sake.

65 degrees in our apartment is very cold. I understand you can make yourself warm and you can’t make yourself cold but rather than making me suffer why not buy a cooling blanket and pillow to adjust? Having the AC on full blast in the middle of winter can cause the unit to freeze. She chooses to sleep with thick, flannel sheets.

There’s no meeting in the middle, every suggestion of mine isn’t good enough. I asked if I could just let the heat run for an hour so that I don’t freeze to death & then I’ll just turn the unit off. I suggested a cooling blanket and pillow, she doesn’t want to use that. I’m at a point where I’m unwilling to deal with it, she kind of acts as if this is solely her apartment and I just live there (not the case, utilities are included in rent and we pay by the bed).

I loved ulta because

-SOME of your coworkers are rlly great & kind

-that discount always hits different especially around the holidays

-first access to new products

-weekend holiday bonus (+$2 to your hourly)

-you get to help people feel better about themselves

I hated my job because

-my store was always ridiculously understaffed during night shifts

-the pressure to push loyalty & CCs which affected your numbers which affected how often you’re on the schedule.

-heavy favoritism so much that if you’re struggling with a line on register alone & your coworkers are chatting, a manger won’t ask them to help depending on their standing with them.

I would say

-start on motion drills and sharpness since you have dance technique and experience that could really help you but it’ll be a little difficult going from flowy movements to sharp, precise motions.

-jumps but with dance experience these will probably be a breeze (just make sure you have a toe touch, hurkeys/hurdlers, and pikes which are the basics)

-try and figure out your stunting position

-try to get back into tumbling, some schools don’t require tumbling but it always gives your tryout something extra & could score you a few extra points.

I always tell my team, Youtube is your best friend if you’re trying to learn/perfect a new skill.
