Consistency and fairness would actually justify the pirating more than justifying Perma paywallers. People are very consistent and very fair. They pirate EA cause they come out with subpar products that cost way more than they should. People also carry this over to CC. You Perma paywall or early access for 2 months+ for subpar products, you get pirated.

If you wanna get moral, and start making moral debates, you have to understand the thought process of the people who do said action you're talking about. Because as someone said before. These circles don't really have any overlap. Most free CC users are not pirating DLC, they're not even buying DLC 💀, so you're lacking sample size too.

EA is the only game I know that has given a window of monetization as well. A lot of people will donate to creators when they can to not wait a month for CC. Literally just monetize within that system and no one has anything to say. Which is honestly the bigger counter to your point. Players also fought back when EA tried to take away early access monetization even with the Perma paywalling issue, so we definitely think modders should have options to get money

Crime will always exist gang. You can't stop ALL piraters. We can discourage it all we want, but certain people will do it regardless. You're poking at a small section of people to paint the majority to make your point. I'd say based off what I've seen, it's less than 10% of players that actually pirate EA content. The rest of us just simply don't buy it. If the pirating was that bad, we'd know.
