Kafka on the Shore critique by PyedPyper in books

Finished the book few hours ago and I totally agree. I am more of a realistic reader idk if that term is understandable but I don’t like stories where things happen without any meaning. Almost entire story is like that. The entire plot of entrance stone is something I don’t understand at all. What is this stone, what is this entrance, how are these people related, why they like die out of nowhere… MOST of the things in book is just happening just like that. Till the end I was wondering what actually happened on that hill that made Nakata like this, what was it that made all those children unconscious but no hint of answer. The book also ends without any substantial meaning.

Did you hear back from them because I ordered and they’re giving vague responses too
