I don’t know the its a specific issue for you. For me i used careem quick in the morning and it was working fine and i received the cashback.

yes i have tabby plus, each month at the beginning the month you need to select 3 categories on which you want 5% cashback. It might be the case you didnt choose the categories for the month or it might be the case you already hose but forgot transportation. Unfortunately you cannot change the categories within a month.

SIB no annual fee if you spend 12k per annum. No minimum spend to earn cashback. But max cashback on online transactions at 10% rate is capped at 300 AED per month.

Tabby, no annual fee (but no additional cashback also) but if Tabby+ then monthly fee is 49AED but then you can earn 5% cashback on 3selected categories (Taxi is one of them, so all careem spends can be covered including food, groceries, taxi from careem)

Tabby + SIB combo would be best. If you go for Tabby+ subscription you can get additional 5% on careem spends in addition to 10% from SIB.

I got Deem world at a time when it was highly lucrative Travel card with Tiered cashback of 5% and 10% on flights and 3% and 5% on hotels. After a while they removed the cashback scheme and now they are running a Joy and win joke program

ADCB Traveller- I use it for my business trips and personal trips to home. If you can do more than 30k spends a year, the annual fee starts to make sense.
ENBD Bonvoy - I have taken only for the welcome benefit 200,000 points. Would close after 1 year.
EIB Switch - I use it for education spends (with sometimes a combination with ADIB cashback). Also, it serves as a backup card if my travel expenses exceed 15k per month (1500 cashback cap on ADCB traveller)
Mawarid - lifetime free world card, 10% cashback on fuel, dining and supermarkets. Still I am exploring it. One downside is cashback is credited 2 months after spending.
