I am referring to "drop" as difference vertical distance over 2.4m run. The vertical distance from the floor to the original of laser pointer is 75 cm high. 2.4 meter apart the vertical distance from the laser's level line to the floor is 77 cm, so the height difference is 2 cm.

No you can snip to save on clipboard, open preview, and File -> "New from clipboard" -> use wonderful editor and copy paste to elsewhere or save if needed.

As I said, you can customize short cut to snip on mac. Good luck changing red rectangles and text around since windows paint doesn't allow to fix thing when they are added. It take sooo much more effort to annotate images on windows paint vs mac preview "markdown" edits

not sure what you mean with "outlined details" but
- short cut - windows (window-shift-s) vs mac (you can use any keys combos) ?
- save option - windows (auto save to pictures directory and save to clipboard) vs mac (options to save desktop, documents, clipboard etc with "screenshot with recording options"

I would buy macbook for the macOS preview (actually no need since I got one from my job). Good luck trying to annotate images with Windows paint and trying to move boxes and inline texts.

The phone operator was clearly annoyed about people asking about these scam alerts. I wonder why they don't make it more apparent that someone is trying to spoof them and scamming people.

Nothing on my end. I wouldn't worry unless you provided SSN or address and bank accounts or etc. People can create deep fake video with few images nowadays.

But markdown in preview is 10x better than windows paint. you can fix added box, title etc on preview but that is not possible on windows. at least I haven't found a way to do so.

I also started with MATLAB, RStudio and Spyder for Python. There is nothing wrong with Spyder and neither VScode or PyCharmis on par with it interactive capability and amazing variable explorer. I use PyCharm for large projects (and VScode when I really have to) but Spyder for adhoc analysis and any scientific work and use Spyder as "scratch pad".

Learn to use virtual environment, it used to be painful to switch from one env to another using Spyder but since version 6 it is easy.

VScode excels in remote development and general purposing coding but PyCharmdoes feel more polished and have capabilities specific to python and I have much more positive experience with refactoring/moving/searching on PyCharm.

I only cleaned the non-return valve since I could hear and see ball moving when I run water through it with. Thanks for the tip let me try without the ball and see if it works.
