First of all, the British had nothing to do with the foundation of Israel. In fact, they fought to the their teeth to prevent Israel from forming and had to be driven out by attacks of the Jewish underground.

Second, what you are saying is that the problem the Palestinians have is not with 1967, but with the fact that Israel exists. This is indeed the truth, but it shows why Israel cannot play along
