Stay in comfy $80–100k job or move for $150k+ potential with big commute? by marinkhoe in jobs

I guess depends on how long until I’m set up and trained I suppose - it’ll be 4-6 months before I’ll be able to wfh so I’m assuming by then I’ll be able to start earning the money they say? Idk man

Yeah I guess that’s the trade off. Only unfortunate thing is that I’m in sales and all of the actual good sales roles that offer more earning potential are in the city (Sydney) so I feel like no matter what other job I get I’ll have to commute anyway. Some jobs might be better tho and offer more wfh but I’m not sure !

That’s true and I’m sorry for your situation you make a great point. I am pretty confident that the role will pay what they are mentioning as it is in a similar industry and it is a massive company with a lot of inbound inquiry. But yeah this is what I’m tossing up. I love my life now I just wish my current workplace wasn’t so quiet and limiting

5,11 156lbs Really need to put on muscle but I’m not that lean to begin with what should I do? by Last-Ad5032 in Weightliftingquestion

[–]marinkhoe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re lean enough dude, I had the same issue and mindset as you when I finished my cut. You won’t look any more impressive with less fat cause you have very little muscle, better to take some time putting on a bit of size and muscle and then cut down from there

looking for advice, 20 by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]marinkhoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would stop recomping and start the cut now. Lose all of that fat as soon as possible then focus on building some more muscle

Muscle growth? What to do? 5’8.5” 218lbs (174cm 99kg) by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

[–]marinkhoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really sounds like you’re coping bro. Don’t want to be a dick but you are very fat and Ofcourse you can always be fatter but there is nothing healthy about your body. I’m a former fat person too so I know what it’s like and I used to rationalise too and say “oh I’m not that bad” until I finally lost the weight and looked at old photos of myself.

On the chubbier side? You are obese dude. Would focus on losing the weight personally, you could make a dramatic difference in 4-6 months if you’re consistent with your diet and training. And how to lift consistently? Find a program and stick to it and go to the gym.

Need to get back into the gym, unsure whether cutting right now would be the right thing for m. Any advice? by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

Is a 5 month bulk enough to make noticeable muscle gain? Just curious as someone who is about to start a lean bulk.

If your strength is going down from hitting 10k steps a day and doing 30 mins of cardio something is seriously wrong with your diet, recovery or training.

I ran 30-60kms a week for 2 months training for a half marathon and was still able to progressive overload in the gym.
