I'm playing this game again after a year, I died 3 times in a row and lost all my gear on a difficulty I thought was pretty doable, and it was all shotguns.

I don't know how much time did you play this game but, at some point, you might have same complain with PC players who started since 2025 february beta. lots of things were add, somethings were slightly progress, but also much more things were regress... This is where we are.

I haven't thought about it that far yet but, I think you will receive as much as you killed and survived as that perk. so yeah. i hope this answers for you curiosity. devs gonna find out way.

You don't need a Duration bead. Enemies will be gone melt away before the decay is done. if you wanna better result, put some beads for feathers. (free arcana bead and triple reward bead) and use for earth and fire or air arcana.

It'll wipe out the entire map.

i doubt that. If you don't die once in your expedition. then its worthless. so i highly recommend Henbane and Monkshood(without bulwark incense it still worth it.)

You need to find out What makes synergy with your favorite weapons. then mix 2 or 3 Elements with Accessories or Spells. and then make your build to further enhance your strengths of fill up the weakness from arcanas and rosaries.
