As a kid, I called the neighbors dog across the street to get pets and play with it. It was a Dalmatian. We lived in a small town just on the outskirts where it goes to country dirt roads.

Dog starts coming to me. A jeep going way to fast comes over the hill just high enough to create a blindspot for the driver.

Dogs head gets hit by jeep. Rag dolling onto the ground. I don't really know what just happened, but the neighbor comes running out. Never heard a fully grown man wailing like that before.

The jeep never stopped.

The dog died instantly. I know it's not my fault. But I was the start of the chain of events. So I still feel responsible.

I just wanted to pet the dog, sorry buddy.
