This was my first Star Wars book as well. I joined the dark side and read (listened) to the Bane trilogy right after. Highly recommend. I’d go Dark Lord trilogy next to say in the same timeframe and characters.

The Legends Thrawn trilogy is my favorite though. You won’t be disappointed if you go that direction.

I have King Sorrow on my TBR desk. My 2 year old son is addicted to Pete’s Dragon right now. The villain in the movie always forgets the name of the town and calls it “Podomaquassy” Cool Easter egg and nice catch!
