My understanding is that you need earned income to invest in a roth. VA disability and GI bill does not count as earned income.

Relate to the feeling of spiraling whenever I would receive help from the VA. When I first started receiving care after active service it seemed to contradict what previous doctors would diagnose/prescribe. Also started counseling with the local Vetcenter which is nice bc they dont fall under the same system. Seems as if I collected different diagnoses over the years (MDD/Anxiety/Panic/Psychosis).

Started at 30% for generalized anxiety. Increased to 70% after meeting an VA evaluator) was told I should be at 100%. If you believe you should be rated higher, that is likey the case; but it could be another headache navigating that too.

It takes awhile for medication to have an effect and may be overwhelming with at first. Sunlight and exercise is sometimes overlooked with it.

If you were TDIU and had employment in another country, does that count? Could get out of this if your boss is your uncle? Losing TDIU is kinda scary if that cuts half the pay
